Senior Director of Applications R&D, Americas

Asim leads the Americas Food & Nutrition application research and development team. He is responsible for supporting business growth by providing technical leadership to the sales teams and technical support to producers and customers. Asim has extensive experience in alternative meats, plant proteins, fats & oils, emulsions, butters and spreads, fried foods, emulsions, hydrocolloids, and pet/animal nutrition food & treats.

Technical Development Manager and Applications Lab Manager (Brampton, ON)

Marly leads the Brenntag North America’s Food & Nutrition Application & Development Center in Brampton, ON, and develops product concepts and demos to highlight ingredients and trends that support the ever-changing needs of the food industry. She is responsible for coordinating various initiatives and food projects across the region. She specializes in bakery, confectionery, dairy and dairy alternatives, bakery enzymes, fruit prep, hydrocolloids, natural colors, starches, phosphates, and sweet and savory flavors.

As part of the Food & Nutrition team, Terry works with customers to formulate personalized solutions. He is quite experienced in the areas of functional beverages, sugar reduction, batters & breading, soups, sauces, marinades, butters & spreads, alternative meats, nutraceuticals, fibers, acidulants, inclusions, processing aids, beans, pulses, yeast, and blending.

Beeta brings formulation solutions to the changing market demands of our customers.

Corene brings almost 10 years of experience in the food industry. She works alongside the Brenntag R&D team to provide custom solutions to our partners. Corene focuses on antimicrobials, antioxidants, acidulants, processing aids (silica/defoamers), bulk and specialty sweeteners, inclusions, fats & oils, emulsifiers.

Jenny has 10 years of experience in the food and nutraceutical industry. She strongly focuses on vitamins, minerals, fibers, confectionary, functional nutrition, food microbiology, dairy ingredients and proteins, dairy and cheese, nuts, and seeds. As part of the Food & Nutrition team, she works with our sales team and customers to identify your formulation needs and provide innovative solutions.
